Mepo HS Industrial Arts students competed in the construction competition at SCC's Skills Throwdown. The team consisted of Wes Whitaker, Carter Myers, Russell Frank, & Blake Kline. They placed first against six teams that were represented by various programs throughout SE Iowa.
All after school activities and practices for tonight are canceled including girls soccer at Tipton.

National Agriculture Week was a blast! Miss Sarah from Farm Bureau taught us about what plants need and each student made their own Soil Sam. The high school FFA taught us a lesson about the life stages of corn. Finally, we toured the Iowa Corn Growers Education trailer.

The Mighty Bulldogs coached by Miranda Hillyard won the local competition and are advancing to the Regional Battle of the Books competition held on Thursday, April 13th where they will compete against 53 other teams
