Law enforcement has closed Iowa Street, south of school grounds, to all foot and street traffic. Students that normally walk home on Iowa Street will need to use an alternative route after school today. The Des Moines County Sheriff's press release is available on our website.

Congratulations to the Mediapolis Individual Speech Team for their performance on Saturday the 25th. The students performed 27 events with nineteen "1 ratings" and eight "2 ratings". State is on Saturday, March 11th at North Scott.

The Mediapolis Booster Club is sponsoring a free pep bus to Muscatine this Wednesday, February 22, for the varsity girls’ basketball regional final vs Iowa City Regina at 7:00. Mediapolis students interested can sign up at the high school office immediately. Students are responsible for purchasing their ticket to the game online at the following link, and must show proof of purchase before boarding the bus. https://tickets.gobound.com/tickets/events/h20230201060439797ccde10b6d9be43/checkout Community members may sign up to ride the pep bus beginning at noon on Tuesday, Feb 21 by calling the high school office. There will be a chaperone on the bus, and it will leave from the high school circle drive at 5:30. Sign up will end Wednesday at noon. Seating is limited to 44 passengers.
