Our hearts and thoughts are with the New London school district and community. In support of this, we ask all of our staff and students to wear black and yellow to school on Monday. For those seeking more information, there is a candlelight vigil tonight for Gavin from 7 to 8 p.m. at New London High School. Thank you.

The elementary invites parents, guardians, and grandparents to join us in greeting our students outside each morning—a wonderful way to start their day! Our first guests joined us on Friday, and it was a wonderful morning filled with smiles, laughter, and great photo opportunities. If you're interested in participating, please contact Lindsay Gunn at gunnl@mepoedu.org to arrange a day. #MEPOPride

This year, our district has collaborated with the city to draft a comprehensive plan—members of the school district, including our Superintendent and current school board members. A Mediapolis Comprehensive Plan 2040 draft is now available for public comment.
This plan is meant to guide future development and policy decisions in the City of Mediapolis over the next 10 to 20 years. It was prepared for the City by the Southeast Iowa Regional Planning Commission (SEIRPC), using input from local leaders and stakeholders and survey responses from hundreds of community residents and Mediapolis High School students.
The draft for the Comprehensive Plan may be found here:

Feedback will be accepted via the Google Form below. Please email savery@seirpc.com with any questions.
