Dear Mediapolis Community,
Today, during the special session, the board of directors accepted the resignations of Dawn Kelly, School Business Official, and Dave VanNess, Elementary Principal. I want to thank them both for their nearly 15 years of service to the district.
We will begin the search for both positions immediately. The goal is to hire and put the next Elementary principal in place very soon when we return from break. In the meantime, I want to thank Mr. John Kerr for his willingness to fill in as Elementary principal while we work on this transition and get our next principal in place. Ms. Kelly will stay until the end of March to help us transition the new SBO into their role.
Please take a moment to thank them both for the time they served in our district. We have been blessed to have them serving in their roles for nearly 30 years combined.
